Pre-production

One of the most crucial aspects of the recording process is the pre-production period. During this time the aim is creatively for both artist and producer to agree on the ideas and direction of the project.

This time is also used to cover some of the more practical aspects of musical performance, such as instrumental tuning and setup, mic technique and overall sound balance.

We feel it is imperative to have all of the basics in place, and ensure that the artists recordings are of the highest standard from the outset to provide a smoother recording process.
